Sisterhood
The Sisterhood of Temple Israel is a group of diverse women welcoming and bonding with other women through programming and social activities. We strengthen our synagogue and the community through support and outreach.
Youth Education
Temple Israel’s Religious School is a program dedicated to educating the youth in our community. Our convenient hours allow children and young adults to learn about the Jewish faith in a safe and convenient manner. Continuous education is important to us, that’s why we are committed to education of our youth.
Lifecycle events
We also comfort one another and provide support during times of sorrow. Our historic, well-tended Temple Israel cemetery is over 100 years old, and no Jew is refused burial. We observe a community Yizkor service at the cemetery on the Sunday between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
